    Angry Huge bsnl Bill

    Hi All

iam staying in bangalore, i have applied bsnl broadbond connection on OCT09 and i got the connection as soon as possible on DEC09 according to cental govenament rules with UL750 plan.

and it started on 09dec, and i have asked for to migrate the plan from UL750 to HOME250 on 26DEC, i have been migrated on 28dec

in new year from BSNL i got offer to pay the bill neally 5600 Rs.

i though that they calulated the dec home250 paln from 09 dec.

Could please give some idea to sort the central goverament issue?

    thanks

I think they would account from the beginning of month unless you pester them on the status. You should have checked from the Dataone page on the present scheme you were in.

Talk to accounts officer. You can also give a written complaint with receipt to Nodal officer or Appellate authority. Address and phone no on the backside of your bill.

Depending on your area, write an application and walk into the office of the regional customer service manager, explain your problem.
And as long as you can justify that you are right and its their mistake, he will be able to wave of the bill.
I have done this 2 times, once I got waver of Rs2000 or so, and next time it was more than 20K!! ( this one was due to change in plan issue, similar like yours).
Remember, be polite and try to show fact and figures.
I can further elaborate on various arguments you can put forward.
