Default Plan change from date of order.

BSNL plan change is always a problem. It always manage to give a surprise or two. Now there is a recent report that the plan change will take place from the date of order and not next month. This news was in a circular and was reported somewhere else. If you are attempting a plan change keep and eye on the circular. It is not official now but knowing BSNL we need to be vigilant regarding these changes.

Sorry, forgot to mention we can expect new plans soon.

I think it is a distant dream. May be it will be UL 750 @ Rs. 500 or UL 750 @ 384 Kbps.

somewhat good but not that good.

May be they are planning to go 512Kbps in UL750.

    My dream-
    UL750-256Kbps /upto 2Mbps

    UL1350-512Kbps /upto 2Mbps

But the price should be same

It will come true when i will be 18 or more.
but then this much will be little. That time we will have 8Mbps connections for Home users.

What about if UL 750 is 2MBps
this would be a big hit.

Only assume the plan has been changed when Provisioned is mentioned to the corresponding plan.

    hey meetdilip

Thanks for the useful info. on BSNL plan change precautions, and also the news about new plans.

While BSNL periodically introduces new plans, it seems that info. about new plans is not disseminated to all exchanges. I had faced this problem, when the BSNL folks were not aware of the new combo plans. But nevertheless, they asked me to mention the exact name of the plan as per web-site, and "we'll do the needful".

My question is: If they are not aware of the plans, and don't have any info. about it, how will they be in a position to affect the change? It seems that the customer would most likely end up going around in circles... ( as we normally do )
