Thread: Problems with wifi...

hi.. i have a BSNL broadband connection with UT300R2U modem. I recently purchased a Pronet 54WRT wifi router. After following the instructions in the router manual, it tells me that the router should now connect you to the internet. However, it actually does not conect to the net...... !!!
Please help!!!! Am i doing something wrong?? Normal net connection is ok!

What do you mean by Normal net connection

ONLY with Ut300r2U modem if Normal net connection is Ok
1.enable DHCP in the modem.
2.If you are on Dialer Mode ( USERID/PW entered in computer screen )
3. change to "Always On"PPPoE mode
( userId/PW entered in WAn page of modem
after unchecking "Bridged" and selecting PPPoE)
4. Now try 54WRT set up
5. Feedback +ve or ve Also
Start RUN type cmd Ok
New window
type ipconfig /all
copy/paste data here ( No edit )
both units in use.

I mean when i connect the modem to my laptom through the cable, the connection is ok!

Please explain what you have done? Are you able to enable the Wi-Fi signal?
