    Default Night time download calculation

    Hi,
Look at my recent bsnl Usage details, the bold rows - it is errorneously accounting for the download that happened after 2.
Why I claim that it happened after two is that, I have scheduled all my downloads between 2:05-7:55 am and scheduled to reboot my router at 2:04 and 7:55 am.
In fact there are some entries for downloads after 8:10 am also, when I stop all downloads after 7:55 am.
I do not use this connection for any other purpose. In fact, I have tataindicom for normal browsing and work.

Any clues - has anyone "fought" to get their bill corrected? ( I have done that twice and earned waver of about 20K + (yess I have double checked that figure.)

From highlighted lines, it looks like you are starting download before 2 am, so it is getting counted in non - free usage time.

My friend, as I said before, I have my "scheduled tasks" to:
    a) reset the modem
    b) start/stop the downloads
which get executed between 2:04am and 7:55 am.

Which I have tested several times over - to see whether they work.
I can share the same with you and try out - to see whether they work for you also or not.

and as i said - I use BSNL connection only for downloading movies etc.
for other usage I use photon+, on two different laptops.

anything else i could be missing?

from your screenshot I think your scheduled task to restart the modem at the specified time does not work.

I tested it multiple times over before finally settling on that. Well, I can verify that w/o touching the existing schedule. I will update that observation later tonight.

    The meter readings change either
    with 30 minutes ( approx)
    or hourly basis
    Example;
see the download usage on 17th & 18th/.
    17/01 00.26 02.28 2 hours 244924 244924
    17/01 02.28 08.03 5 1/2 hours 326878 0
    ( download finished at 0803AM)

    18/01 00.20 02.22 2 hours
    18/01 02.22 07 52.5 1/2 hours.

Modem not /disconnected at about 0155
    and /rebooted again at 0205.
( because the Download/s are without break )
