i bought a dell laptop which has inbuilt wifi intel wifi link 5300
now i want to do is connect my laptop via wireless and connect pc wired
Modem-ZXDSL831AII
Router-Smart AX MT-841 TYPE IV
Please help

Do you have the Wireless Lan card for this model ?
If not buy a new WIFI router
Netgear wgr614 V9 > Price about Rs 1500/=
Or similar wifi routers like DLink/Linksys /Buffalo etc

what i will do with wireless card when i have wifi builtin for laptop????

1.Modem ZXDSL 831AII cannot be used in WIFI mode.

/TRANSMIT wireless data signals to your
laptop ( with built in WLAN card)

Both PC and Laptop can be connected wired only, as at present.

If you had set up a WLAn , check available wireless Network stations.
Do you get any other stations secured /. unsecured ?
