Thread: For BSNL BROADBAND SPEED -ROUTER ZXDSL 531B

Hello Friends !

Lets make this forum be useful to all ,Since if u contact bsnl customer service or even the JE ..,to solve the problem ..he doesnt know anything .

Can anyone please tell me how can i increase my broad band speed( i mean how can i attain maxmium of my unmilmited 750 plus plan speed).

I am using Bittorrent and kept several files for download but only few of them are downloading ..thr are enough seeds and peers ..but still i am not able to download ..one one item is getting downloaded at time and also its very slow like 2.3 kb ..1 kb .( this is during ppoe over ethernet i,e wireless)

But when i connect thru lan ..from 25 download files only 10 r getting download ..i have airtels mobile office connection as well on my airtel number ..when i connect thruu this .all files are getting downloaded at same time ..since mobile office speed is little slower and also it costs me ,i am not keeping that .

This above shows that thr is some problem with bsnl ..can u please help me in this ..

Change to a higher speed tariff plan.
Home 500 or Home 500C+ may be suitable.

Schedule all downloads in free Night usage time (0200-0800AM)

Home 750 Plan max speed 256Kbps 32KB/sec
Home 500 max speed 2Mbps .....256KB/sec
( 8 times faster)

I too use UL 750.

1. Do port forwarding. Tutorial @ portforward.com

2. Try TCP/IP optimizer from speedguide.net
