BSNL 1GB(starting date and ending date) Hi frnd, i m using BSNL 250 plan. I have taken connection on 23rd this month.
But my 600 Mb is already finished. So i was limitng my usage.
But one of my frnd told me that this 1Gb is up to 31st of each month. And he also told that i will get the next 1Gb from feb 1st.
Is it true? If it is , i can use my rest 400 Mb lavishly. Or otherwise i should be careful.Pls tell me whther this 1 Gb is from 1st to 31st of every month.
pls anyone help me on this.

You wont get the entire free usage limit of 1GB if you get the connection in the middle of the month. BSNL will automatically adjust the amount based on the number of days used. If you got it on the 23rd, then effectively your free usage limit for that month will be only 9/31 times your limit (9 days from 23 to 31) or 297 MB. So I am afraid you have exceeded your free usage limit already by almost 300 MB till now. Also the monthly rental will also be adjusted in a similar fashion i.e. 9/31 of 250 or 73 Rupees.
You will get a fresh quota of 1024 MB starting February 1st.
You will get 1 GB only if the billing cycle starts on 1st and ends on 30th.
limited plans are a headache, suggest u go for unlimited plan..

Check in BSNL Portal
Also register in Web Registration for Usage Alerts
to get email/sms about your usage.
Download the application, shown in above site.
The summary column will show
Chargeable units ( less free NU if any )
from that you have to deduct approx 300 MB as mentioned here.
But if itis a new telphone connection, you have to wait for the consumer number shown in the telephone bill.
Telephone RENT will be for full month.
BBusage Pro rata basis
Modem rent ( not sure full month or prorata)
Excess BB download as per your plan xxx/per MB.
Monitor your usage in FEB/2010 with Shaplus meter.o r Tautology Meter.

i have doubt on my bill, dec month i got bill 985.iam using 500c+ plan, my effective date is 2/12/09.wheter my bill date is 1 to 31 or 2 to 2 of next month? in dec month i check the portal site,but iam not understanding can u tell me detaily

You will get only the divided usage limit of the remaining days in that month
according to that 1024/31 x9 = 297 MB
You have overused 300 MB already
Go for UL 750 (256 Kbps) or UL 1350 (512 kbps). Both costs Rs. 750 and Rs. 1350 respectively.
If you got connection in December, it is from 2 -31 st. If you changed the plan in December, it is 1 -31. 1 -2 as per old plan and 2- 31 as per new plan.

sorry not understanding, i got connect at august ie 750plan, after i changed plan,when iam check the order request then i found 500c+ plan effective date is 2/12/09.here my doubt after dec what is my bill date ie 2 jan to 2 feb or 2 jan to jan 31 or 1jan to 31 jan which is exceeded. can u tell the details which shown above which identifed in portal

sory what is 1698.82 tat means what , which option shows ie free of 2.5gb
typing mistake by you.

For Home500C+ download during 0800AM to 0200AM should not exceed 2.5GB
( =2560 MB .
Free NU 0200AM to 0800 AM shown as Zero in your usage portal and is not added to Summary on top.
Summary shows the Total usage.1695.82 MB ( should show less than 2560 MB)
Your Free download allowed 2.5 GB per month.
Unused data download cannot be carried forward to next month.
then what abt total volume=30502, in tat month i got 985rs bill, 227 rs for bbuschg, it is for extra usage which they said i crosed 2.5gb
iam totally confused y it happens
which option is related to check whether we exceded the limit or not ie 2.5gb
