    Default internet prob

    I have broadband connection(256 kbps)
Whenever i connect there is a sudden usage of internet speed
(range 15-20 mb)without even opening the browser or any messenger ...why is that ????

i need urgent help becoz its burning a hole in my pocket...

is it some malicous software using my net ????

i have run AVG and found no probs.....

it has boiled down to a file " wwwpos32.exe" .it is located in startup and when i tried to disable it using msconfig,it didnt have any effect and it was enabled automatically..i feel this is the culprit....I tried to delete it manually but no use...AVG,MBAM and hijackthis have also failed.....

    plz help

try by using trend micro internet security

it is best antivirus + spyware but only for broadband users

    because of its heavy update

i tried almost all antivirus with my infected c.d (i keep all virus and worm found and burn them to c.d. for testing purpose)

and found trend micro found 99% of then

even quichheal, norton, avast, avira, eset, etc all fails

Do not connect to Internet now.
Assuming you have Windows Xp Sp3
Go to SAFE MODE./ Disable System Restore.
    do sfc /scannow
( keep Installation Cd ready )
    I did a Google search:
    wwwpos32.exe
and found that the deletion may not be easy.

This Trojan could have infected many files.
and Every AV application claims to remove it.

You do not need a toolbar to use Yahoo Antispy. Ok as it comes with Yahoo it has certain level of acceptance. It is your choice, I use it without trouble.

    @mickey
    disconnect Internet
    If possible try System Restore
MalwareBytes in Safe mode can be tried.
Earlier to Jan 20th or on 20th.
Try an Online Microsoft Windows Live scan .
see this romanian link. ( google translation )Google Translate
