    Download TCP optimizer from speedguide.net
    and change settings.
    Mention your model /make/model/number.
    Retest speed at Airtel

you have 500c+ which means you have band width of 256-2Mbps ...Instead of adding one torrent file to download you more torrent files....
Regarding the problem you are facing there are 2 possiblities...
    1. the location from where you are downloading is slow
    2. there are more number of users in your locality

Use default settings. or optimal settings.
Keep slider for speed at 2.5 Mbps.

Do you have a firewall ? Check its settings. What is the speed you get using torrents ? Try port forwarding. Please mention your modem - model and make.

Do you feel there is an improvement after using TCP/optimizer application /
torrent downloads are not standard speed measurements.
Download from Windows Website and check the speed.
Free Microsoft Security Essentials recommended for download.
    or Malicious malware removal tool.

If you know Uncheck ADSL2+ box in DSL menu item in modem. and recheck.
Mention modem/model/make( in your next post ).

Para two : Are you sure you have tweaked your
torrents application ? Mention application name

As suggested by @pichu if you type in Search
    box above
say "Utorrent settings " ( without quotes)
you may get old threads in this forum or in the web..

Yea, your Upload Line speed high at airtel ISP 1022Kbps near to 1Mbps thats why you get the high Upload speed. In think in BSNL you get 52 to 56KBps upload speed according to your Line speed.

Is that the plan you have in Airtel is it Unlimited. I know some old uses of Airtel get some good facility from their ISP.

    Arrow

Try, only to download that torrents that have seeders at least 0.7* leechers.

If you are using utorrent latest version then switch to utorrent 1.6.1 version , it is the best ever version of the utorrent or Flashget 1.9 (recommended).

You are repeating the problem again. in this thread.
and you will be asked the usual questions.
you should summarise steps taken by you for
improvement of D/l speed , and give latest
data as given by me for
SNR ATTN Line rate rate etc.

See update in my Post 13 and check link given.

Nothing to adjust in modem. Modem is OK.
    Good settings.
    Check up utorrent settings.

    @Gaurav Rao
Set your ADSL mode to G.DMT by check on G.dmt and uncheck the others options.
it will increase your line speed 1979Kbps to 2048Kbps
but you wont get the 200Kbps download speed before 15 to 20 days.
Your speed will be restore automatically.

For Home750 U/l the download speed is upto 256kbps which is 8 times less the speed for
Home 250 etc, promised speed upto 2 Mbps.
    Download between 10KB/sec to 30KB/sec
only possible under Home 750 U/L.
0ne MB file can be downloaded at max speed in about 30 to 40 seconds .

In Airtel speed meter this data also given , in the website page.
    Your modem is working satisfactorily.
