Thread: Internet lamp not stable in wa3002g4 modem

Recently i have restored the factory settings of my above said modem.after that i have set the user id and password in the modem.since then the internet link is very much unstable.i have to reboot the modem and after two or three such rebooting internet is coming.what may be the problem.i have not changed any other default settings.kindly suggest...........

Uncheck adsl2+ in menu item DSL.
Save reboot. wait for two minutes.
Check earlier under tatistics/ADSL
snr attn line speed Rate and mod selected.Only these parameters required.

I assumed you know how to change settings in modem as per post No 1.
You see menu items on the left.
You should have selected Advanced Options WAN and entered your userID and PW.
same way
click menu item STATISTICS ADSL
there you see on top Mod mode.
IF it is adsl2 +
then
select menu item DSL
you will find no of boxes
Just Uncheck adsl2+
Save reboot.
Check connection stability.
If Still problem give this data
START RUN type cmd Ok
New window
type ipconfig /all
copy/paste data here ( NO edit )

Ensure ALL phones connected after ADSL splitter. ( from this PHONE port )

yes now within few seconds i got connected to internet.request to tell why we have unchecked adsl2+

Please see Line Rate rate etc
In ADSL2+ the speed is quite high but your connection speed is low. ( modem tries to synchronise at connecting speed )
usually meant for say 8 mbps & above speeds.
GDMT G LITE T 413 ADSL2 all stabilise at a lower rate.

Incidentally mine now is on ADSL2 + !!!!!
