Default New Modem, No DSL Light

    Hello Everyone.

I am continuing this thread from the previous one which was before I received the Modem and User ID from BSNL.

    I have the ZTE ZXDSL 531B Type 2 (4 USB/ WiFi) Modem.

I have made the connections after reading various posts on the forum and also as suggested by Essbebe in the previous thread. But I have been unsuccessful in configuring the internet.
The power and WLan lights are on.The DSL and Internet is dark.
I have set up for a 'Always on PPPoE'
And when I try to connect in 'Bridging' settings, after 30 seconds I get 'Error 678'.
The Splitter is fine and Phone line has a dial tone.
The DSL LED is functional because it blinks once when Modem starts.

Here is a log of my ipconfig/all
