Thread: BSNL Broadband connecting two computer

I find this forum very useful. And folks around here is very knowledgeable. I need your help as well.

I am using STERLITE SAM400 modem for you BSNL broadband. I have 750 Unlimited plan. I want to connect my home laptop through cable. And ,I want my 'office laptop' to be connected to internet at home through WiFi. I want both this laptops to be connected to internet at the same time.

I have tried with Bridge configuration (use username and password every time I connect to internet), it works, but only one laptop can be connected at a time. I tried with PPoE configuration as well. But here, only my home laptop works. I am not able to connect to internet in my 'office laptop'. Though, my 'office laptop' will show as 'wireless network connected'.

My internet Protocol (TCP/IP) properties as set to "Obtain an IP address atomically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically". The similar setting is also there for my 'office laptop'.

Can someone help. Appreciate it.

That worked for me as I am using Desktop and Laptop but never tried to use internet on both at the same time.....

You can easily use net on both PC. All you need is PPPoE mode. We cannot achieve this in Bridge mode.
