Question How to Connect two computers together desktop in LAN and laptop in wifi ?

I find this forum very useful. And folks around here is very knowledgeable. I need your help as well.
I am using STERLITE SAM400 modem for you BSNL broadband. I have 750 Unlimited plan. I want to connect my home laptop through cable. And ,I want my 'office laptop' to be connected to internet at home through WiFi. I want both this laptops to be connected to internet at the same time.
I have tried with Bridge configuration (use username and password every time I connect to internet), it works, but only one laptop can be connected at a time. I tried with PPoE configuration as well. But here, only my home laptop works. I am not able to connect to internet in my 'office laptop'. Though, my 'office laptop' will show as 'wireless network connected'.
My internet Protocol (TCP/IP) properties as set to "Obtain an IP address atomically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically". The similar setting is also there for my 'office laptop'.
    Can someone help. Appreciate it.

Appreciate your Help ESS. As you advised, I am not sure how to change dialer model to "Always On Mode" and how to eenable DHCP.

I am not finding that option under "WAN Setup". Though, I have entered userid and PW in wan page.

Confirm you are on Dialer Mode
( enter userId and PW in computer Window )
    OR
"Always On' mode ( UserId/PW entered in wan page of modem )
The screen shots you have posted for the modem and TCP/IP page does not appear to tally.
    2. In the wan page there is "TRIGGER"
    connect disconnect.
    Click Connect and see.

    Post ipconfig /all
    ( NO EDIT)
for BOTH home laptop and office laptop.
    Procedure:
    STARTRUN type cmd
    OK.
    New window opens
    type ipconfig /all
    COPY/PASTE HERE>

    2. presume You have enabled DHCP in the modem
    and give a range say 192.168.1.3 to 192.168.1.10 ( upto 254)

    Both laptops/computers
    .
    Your Office laptop :
Does it show the WIFI network name you had given/entered in router ?

If Home Laptop works in WIFI mode ( with lan port rj45 removed)
connect Rj45 to Office laptop and confirm you can
    connect to Internet.
    Wifi will /should/must/work !
