Thread: Help on MT841 SmartAX Modem of BSNL

The Wireless Card that comes with MT841 is lost. Is there a way to get one. I tried with BSNL they say they dont have. I donno what i should ask in the Computer Shop as no one are aware and all are suggesting me to go for PCMCIA card of laptop. I am tired of explaining them that my laptop is Wireless enabled and i want a Wireless Card for my Modem. If anyone know please let me know the model and make for that.

for MT841 modem . Ask for this at a computer

Thanks for the early reply I tried in my city in mangalore none has it. if you let me know where you from and also if you know if it is available in your city or any Computer Dealer.

Atlast a tedious task. Manage to get the Card it is on it's way from a diferent city. BSNL are not ready to give this card and they have one simple reason how to take in to account. It's really not a good service from BSNL. I manage to get it from my friend as he knowing someone in BSNL but still i tell you if you dont know anyone in BSNL then it's hard to get this card. They smply dont give you.

I managed to get a card from local BSNL unit. However i am not able to configure it. Please help how to configure WCBG03H PCMCIA 802.11b/g Card for WiFi

if anyone of u get this card availibility in the market please post the city name and address .it would be very helpful for all the users , as all are facing same problem....

Did you buy the modem MT841 from BSNL ?
( one year free replacement usually)
A type IV supposed to have WIFI Option.
or on rent ?

Exchange it. Very difficult to get the wireless card.

Even otherwise the cost will be around Rs 1000/=
( obsolete item ). Then search for driver/s !

You can buy an external Wireless router
such as Netgear WGR614.
