Thread: Bsnl night unlimited download

Encouraged by a thread in the forum , I have downloaded and installed 'Cholyal's night downloader'. the thread is much useful to those who, like me, are the victim of BSNL's erroneous usage billing. May you kindly advise treating me as a beginer, how to operate the software while surfing net within the unlimited usage period. While clicking 'test modem capability' option, it tells that my modem is not having re-booting feature. I am using 'type one' DSL modem.

Please provide the make and model of your modem.

My Modem model No is C. 2110. make- Siemens (DSL type one)

see this. Be careful , and switch off modem at about 0755AM.

Is your modem in PPPoE or bridge mode ?

If your modem is in bridge mode, then you don't need to reboot modem, just reboot your PC, the connection will automatically be terminated closing all downloads and links.
Do this at 2:10AM and 7:50AM t avoid overdownloading. C2110 supports rebooting but may not be possible through any third party tool.

Search for one of my posts for download automation in home 500. That may help.

if it is in bridge mode all u need to do is rasdial..I have made one batch file to connect (2:15am) and one file to disconnect (7:45am) .. then added these to the task scheduler..no need to restart the pc or the modem..

I also make sure my pc's system time is in sync with bsnl's server time..so that connection/disconnection happen at the correct time. this setup has worked for me flawlessly for the past few years..

Oh it says... cant post URL till my 15th posts. Just google it.

Just click start and it handles everything for you. Connecting and initiating Torrent Download after 2:00 AM and disconnecting/shutdown before 8:00 AM.
Been using this for months now.
