Thread: can i use my broadband connection with any landline???

i have a query. i have bsnl home 750 plan presently. for 3 months i need to stay elsewhere. so can i use my broadband connection there with my modem and account, if there is a landline but no net connection? I need net connection for 3 months. Please help.

I have tried this..
But this does not works for me.
So, I think it will not work.

You can use the same modem. But you need to get a new connection there or get your line transferred to the particular location. This is because of the port binding in place. You can access your connection only through your land line no.

Try to get a parallel connection there.

This is possible....
But we cannot dial our connection by connecting a modem with others landline....
This is not happen because if can able to use then this means we can able to dial others username and password too in our connection, then what will happen you can wonder..........
Everyone starts dialing others connection and at last all will get bills of horrible amount.

NEW LOCATION
If the Telephone number is different at new
location, You cannot connect BB from there with present USERID and PW.
OLD LOCATION
Inform Exchange BB , ( home 750) to be disabled for three months, and also Telephone for safe custody for three months. ( or retain telephone connection )

NEW LOCATION
You can apply for prepaid BB connection ( if available ) at new location and get new UserID/PW.
Anywhere in India , you can use it on BSNL landline Telephone.( also at old location )
