Default Setting up wireless router Airlink 101 Mimo XR #AR525W

    Hi,
I brought my router from US. I was using it with cable modem there and setup was very easy. They have installation guide and I tried to setup wireless router with my BSNL smartax Mt882 modem.
I followed the steps, but there is no connectivity between DSL modem and wireless router.
I have connected output of modem to WLAN port of my router. Is that right,
Also for using modem directly as a LAN connection, we have to assign ip addresses to LAN, Is that a problem while setting up wi-fi router?
Both of them are using same port as 192.168.1.1.
Can somebody help me in this?

Avinash, I have Airlink wireless modem AR430W (got real cheap for $9.99 ).

You should connect the LAN port of BSNL smartax Mt882 to one of the LAN ports (1~4) of the Airlink modem. Do not connect it to the Internet/WLAN port.

For problem 2, change the IP address of the Airlink modem to 192.168.2.1 or something other than 192.168.1.x

    Hope this helps.

    Default Samme issue with airlink101

    all,

Im facing the same issue as Avinash in this thread. I gotta a Airlink 101 Model# AR430W wireless router. The Airlink router expects the IP 192.168.1.1 to be set to it, but the BSNL smartax MT841 gets the IP 192.168.1.1. I am not able to access the web interface of the Airlink router. dunno why. So i changed the IP of the BSNL modem to 192.168.1.254. But still I am not able to access the web interface of the Airlink router. Dunno if the 192.168.1.1. IP is. Someone Please help me out !!!

Default MT841 and Airlink 101 issue

Heres the dump of the ipconfig. The default gateway IP is that of the MT841's. Even after all this the Airlink 101 does not get the IP 192.168.1.1.
Ping to 192.168.1.1 does not succeed.

    1.Confirm your MT841 has a wireless card,
which you have configured for WIFI.
    2. Confirm Airlink101 is an ADSLmodem/router/wifi 3 -in 1 type.
