Thread: BSNL OVERCHARGED ME for 500 its FRAUD

i took a BSNL BB connection 2 months back in Dec
on Christmas the 500 plan where u get 2.5 gb + 2-8 AM unlimited

now i never download in day time
i start downloads at 2.15 AM after modem reset (power on . off)
and keep auto shut down at 7.30 AM
just to make sure am not billed
but still in the usage details i see 200 MB , 100 MB 50 MB downloaded on 8:01 Am

amin how is it possible when my PC is not running at that time ya my modem is on but the lan light goes dead when u shut down pc , it gets to stable green that means its not working

its like hell
how can i be billed .
Guys BSNL guys can u help .

what are the next steps i can take

You can do nothing with this. Install Irfan's. Its always better to download half hour ahead and till half hour left of unlimited time period. Because Bsnl guys like to mess up with their consumers.

2. Precaution:
open BSNL Portal and synchronise your computer time with BSNL time shown on left top along with your name log in time. Next day recheck your computer time.

2. .A.O will ignore the usage for 1 minute etc and give free usage benefit.
3. 30 minutes difference in your computer time and BSNL's time not understood.
4. Bios battery may need replacement.

make your time synchronise with BSNL PORTAL time (portal time is the actual time taken for free usage calculation).make sure your wireless is protected (if type 2 modem) if ur usage chares are heavy u can contact in writting your AO for the excess usage reduction
