    2. Only three LEDs are glowing (Link, PC/USB and power on)
    3. PC/USB LED is always glowing in red colour

Are you connecting in Dialer mode or "Always On ' mode.
    Presume you entered vpi/vci 0 and 35
Check in Diagnostics page failed components.
    copy/paste this data. ipconfig /all
    Use similar command for UBUNtu.

Check the power adapter. How old is your modem and power adapter ?
Did you RESET the modem and try ?

Thank you for your reply. I am using the modem in always on mode. My system does not show any wired connectivity. Even after windows the trouble shooting it gives the same message "pls connect the Ethernet card" Therefore i may not get any info if i issue the command suggested by you.

The problem is solved. Problem was in the power adopter. I gave it to local service person and he charged me 100 bucks. Now modem is working better than never before...

Default Beetel 220BX ADSL2+ modem's PC/USB LED always glow in red colour

I had the same problem as sundar mentioned above and got it rectified by changing the power adapter. It looks like Beetel 220BX ADSL2+ modem's power adapter wears out over time.

Intriguing... how can the power adapter cause such issues? I mean its not like the adapter has stopped working completely. What might be happening? Supply of lower voltage/current? That can cause such issues?

Anyway, I'v had really bad experiences with Beetel products. I consider them sub-standard.
