    Default Problem

    I have been using a BSNL MODEM WA3002G4 and suddenly the internet stops working,even though the DSL light is still ON and then I get a prompt from Internet Explorer saying your internet is not working,please run internet diagnostics.It says switch off/switch on the modem and after three minutes,start using the internet and if it doesn't work,run the diagnostic setup again.So I do that and it says you are having a problem with your ISP.I have attached the results from the Diagnostic Run.I hope you could help me with this problem.

    Did you check that anybody else is facing the same problem in your area?

    Just try and reset the settings of your connection and the modem to the default.

    1. Start > run >cmd > ipconfig/all, Post the data here

    2. Open modem status page and post the screen shot here.

    Yes my modem shows busy.Even Norton Live Update,updates automatically.

    I am using Windows XP Home Edition (OEM),Service Pack 3.

    I am sorry,I should have explained.The thing is that even though the internet is connected,the browsers I use ( Internet Explorer 8 and Mozilla Firefox 3.5.8 ) do not open the websites,until the modem is restarted (after running the diagnostic utility on Internet Explorer 8),I have to wait for three minutes and then start browsing.

    This problem happens once in four to five days.

    It is really strange.I live about five kilometers from the BSNL telephone exchange.

    @meetdilip
    when we use "annexure" for the picture, should we again use "insert" when thumbnail is shown ?

    example:http://www.indiabroadband.net/showth...531#post268531
