2. Speed is reduced in Unlimited plans,
3. Earlier BSNL used take calculate usage average in period of time billing ie. if you started using net by 10 Pm and you start downloading by 2AM (free time)and close by 4AM you get billed for average use during this time so you end up paying more instead of free.
4. for frequent disconnection problems try get correction done by central network
station of your city(in Bangalore it is Ulsoor exchange). My be your activity being watched by some one?

5. Before changing plans make sure about speed with existing users especially if your use is VoIP like skype.
