Thread: is it possible to merge /combine .. bsnl BB and a gprs connection ??

my bsnl connection is faulty ...and drops frequently so i was wondering if it was possible to merge my IDEA EDGE connection ( usb) and bsnl connection (LAN) .. so that even when there's a drop in bsnl .. i could still browse with the IDEA edge .....

i dont think, merging is possible.. but you may download automatic dialer software and make idea edge as your default automatic connection..

YES. The faster connection will work.
( rather one connection should fail )
Speed will not add up.
For testing , if you have the good old 56 K Fax/voice modem try the NETONE ( connection ( BSNL L/L phone number is the ID). I had tried it .

you mean it is possible to merge bb and idea edge??really?

u must think i am crazy ..........rite mickey ???

anyways ...i dont want to increase the speed .......... i simply wanna use the idea edge as a fall back .. sort of like emergency backup when my dataone freezes....and also the idea connection to take the backseat when dataone comes back ....


simply put .. idea connection should do what my ups does to my pc ...

I had given test suggestion also. you can try the NETONE. ( hourly Rs 6/=)
phone calls Night time 900 seconds one pulse. ( other periods i think 450 seconds one pulse /call )
Useful as a standby connection also when BB fails.
