Thread: modem type

hello frnds
i m using ZTE zxdsl 531 B with bsnl broadband connection, which is having 4 LAN ports along with WI FI.
plz. tell me what type of modem this is type I or type II or III or IV.
and
is it support multiple WI FI? yes then how?

Type II & IV genreally means WIFI available.
Number of LAN ports will be more in TYpe IV
Also they have stareted Type A and Type B now.
Better to avoid this classification by BSNL.
Your 531B will support WIFI operation.
Any number of laptops/desktops with Wireless LAN card can work without any connection, within range.

i m also using this modem.but connect modem is better then bsnl adsl 441no 2 ports
