    Default problem in modem

    i have disconnected broadband 3 months ago,but today when i connected my phone line with the modem i saw that my yellow light is stable(i.e link,which should blink),then when i tried to connect via my old username and password it shows wrong username or password,
    so what may be the problem???
    is my connection still active??

    Mention modem/model/make/number.
    IF
    you have been allotted a new USERID PW
    THEN
    use it either in Dialer mode ("bridged") or incorporate in the modem WAN page PPP/PPPoE Always On.
    Connect All Phones AFTER splitter.
    Check ADSL data and Diagnostics page/s
    in modem to pinpoint the fault.
    Post this data ( Copy/paste No edit )
    Start RUn type cmd OK
    New window
    type ipconfig /all

    Select your modem/router from Calcutta Telephones link. Given last.
