My uTorrent speed is very slow - around 80-90 KB/s . it says "port not open . but u r still able to download" . i am not able to forward ports in UT300R2U. i dont have the NAT option under Advanced setup nor do i have the virtual server. I am in bridge mode mode. plz help.

PS : i used to get 230 KB/s speed in the same torrent around 2 months ago.

    i use H500C+ plan

Switch to bridge mode. All ports are open by default.

Are you in bridge mode ? If yes, configure your firewall to allow assigned port open.

PPPoE - ID and password stored in the modem.
Bridge - We need to dial using a dialler.

    Try this

Port Forwarding Utorrent on the UTStarcom UT-300R2U

Leave all the things, just try two ports:
    1. 6969
    2. 1

    These are always open......

I am in bridge mode mode. plz help
UT300R2U new supplied by BSNL may not have the NAT options other than DMZ
    2.
Also the page will be hidden if you
    connect in "bridged" mode
( UserID PW not stored in MODEM )
    3.
If modem purchased/on rent / try for exchange
you may get ZTE ZXDSL 831AII
or upgrade to WIFI routers (3in 1)
    4.
    Firmware Upgrade is possible, but
    not recommended, except for advanced
users, and those who can take the risk, even if the modem becoming completely useless.

Good show. I think you can safely upgrade Beetel
Firmware ( easily available), provided you know how to restore original Fw, if something goes wrong!
What is of the effect of upgrading with DLink FW?
    First condition:
1.Hardware board should be same. YES
    2. CFE should be same ( preferred) Yes
3.get old version of FW..................... YES
    4. Check the Software version ............YES

If all 4 yes , then worthwhile trying a FW upgrade.

Yes. You will able to resume your download from 90 %. All you need to do is set the directory with 90 % completed file as default directory.

You used the tool to change your Fw version.
Modem still in working condition! ???
confirm the FW details appear different..
Now confirm whether , you are getting the Advanced options under NAT.

    Regarding torrent downloads follow
    @meetdilip 's suggestions.

    Talking the simplest way....

to forward port in ut300r2u.... got to the NAT option in ur router (192.168.1.1)
and write down ur ip that is 192.168.1.2 (common ip) and save...thats it done... works 100%....also forword ur port in ur firewall...

to see ip address ..... run/cmd/ipconfig/enter...

    @superman2010
    Problem from Post 1.
My uTorrent speed is very slow - around 80-90 KB/s . it says "port not open . but u r still able to download" . i am not able to forward ports in UT300R2U. i dont have the NAT option under Advanced setup nor do i have the virtual server. I am in bridge mode mode. plz help.

    Under Advanced Options NAT
    Virtual Server
    port triggering
options were not available in UT300R2U.
So @Shubham96 has tried a Firmware change
successfully to get those options. ( In 'Always On" mode)
Now he has not confirmed whether the options are available now.

2 Any way thanks for the information. posted. .
