The settings on my ZXDSL A II router revert back to factory defaults if power is switched off. After applying settings for PPPoE and soft restart the router works fine but once power is switched off it reverts to factory default. Any Clue ??

Reset the modem to factory settings and configure it again.
After making all changes, check in
Menu
Management , or maintenence
There you may get an option for SAVE
REBOOT.
Wait for 2 minutes.
I will connect the same modem831 Aii tomorrow, if needed , and update.
