Thread: urgent help needed in home 500 combo

i am planning to take home 500 combo.My questions:
1.Is 1.5 GB enough for browsing and chatting and orkut
2.Those 175 Calls are also for STD?
3.What precautions i have to take to start heavy Downloading? (say starting and end time)
Modem reboot etc.......???
Currently I am on PPPOE
Am i right or should i revert back to Bridge mode?

1.5GB is depended on the amount you use in browsing. you should plan and use it daily.
if u split 1.5GB for 30 days then you can browse for 51.2MB per day. my opinion is to go for Home 500C+ then u can browse 83.3MB per day. coming to free hour usage, now a days bsnl is pissing off customers in billing, so my advice is to switch-on(or restart) the modem at 2.10am and switch-off at 7.50am during free download hours.
