Thread: Internet in ubuntu is fine, Check out this!!!!!!!

Yesterday i posted on the forum regarding the problem in ubuntu that internet is not working, Tried with pppoeconf and other stuff and finally to set dsl connection this helped me....

On terminal type this

1) Edit /etc/NetworkManager/nm-system-settings.conf and set managed=true


1 [ifupdown]
2 managed=false

...to true.



1 [ifupdown]
2 managed=true

2. Restart networking and network-manager services.

You can always restart the computer, but where is the fun in that To get things to work without restarting, run the following commands.

1 sudo /etc/init.d/network-manager restart
2 sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

for me the things happened just with browser cache, so i replied my way...
