    Default Too Low SNR

For past 2 days I am facing extremely low snr that leads to disconnection at times. The values are falling to as low as 7dB / 12 dB (up/down) and Attenuation Up/Down : 20.0 dB /29.0 dB.

I complained at 1800-424-1600 .... no reply yet .... Tried to talk to the costumer care ... no one picks up ... guess I have to keep trying.

No problem with splitter settings or the wires that I can see. Must be from the connection box somewhere out side my house.

Where else do I complain ? Is the online complain faster in response ?

... oh and I'm in Kolkata circle

This problem can only be solved by calling them....................
If no reply then go to their office.........
The line man will check your line and repair it......

Are you getting attainable speed to be 2 Mbps???
If no then remove all the cables and reconnect them...........
If yes then only you can do is: call them.......

ZOMG I FINALLY TALKED TO THEM ....... They said is the splitter settings ok or not .... I explained, and they replied they will see what they can do :/

@gaggan4392 .... I am not getting max attainable speed for past 6-7 months. Max speed is 220 KBps at night it never crosses 210 KBps. But Theres nothing that can be done about that.

After this SNR problem the speed is still ok.

You can also complain to the Nodal officer and appellate authority. Address and phone no on the backside of your bill.

    Try GDMT as mod mode.

Thanks ... but I complained again and they came yesterday .... They seemed to have fixed it .... The problem was at the telephone box or line distribution box (or something). Seems ok now. No disconnections since yesterday.
