Thread: BSNL BB home500(but received a bill of only245)

recently i changed my plan from ul750 to home500
now i have received a bill of only Rs 245
the contents of the bill r as follows
1.Telephone-
recurring charges:120+usage:12-discount:12=120
2.broadband
recurring charges:0+usage522-discount:433=101
TOTAL=221+tax:22=243


if i use a 500 plan how can i get a bill of only 245

Probably, they have adjusted from Home750
Advance One month deposit proportionately.
( No security Deposit for plans upto Home 500 etc )
RE Check in Tariffs web site of BSNL
Mention the date of Plan change.

Yep same thing happened when I changed few years back. The security deposit for UL750(was UL 900 back then) gets refunded.

Well last month, BSNL has slapped me with extra usage bills. It was also getting reflected in web usage but i was sure something is wrong as i never used it.

However i had no proof , i paid bill.

But started observing usage also subscribed to their usage SMS service.

Not to mention , usage mention in SMS and Web Log DOESNT MATCH for sametime line.

How can take up this complaint. I am sure, they have cheated on me last month also.

Believe what is shown in the portal. You can use a good bandwidth meter like Shaplus to keep track of your usage.

It is better you talk with the Senior Divisional Engineer or the accounts officer regarding this issue. You can also complain to appellate authority or nodal officer. Address and telephone no on the backside of your bill.
