    Post Night Unlimited Help.

    I have night unlimited plan. If I started one browsing/downloading session at 01.30am ends at 08.30 am without disconnecting will i get the benefit of night unlimited? Will bsnl omit data transferred during 2 am- 8am in a continuous browsing session which extends beyond the NU duration, how do they calculate it?

    They are not good in calculating for night Unlimited.........
    For be safe start download at 1:30 am and reboot at 2:05 am and than at 7:55. So as to be safe from extra bills.

    You, should check the data usage on the bsnl official website itself before to decide your own calculation because it cost u more evey without ur knowledge.

    To be on safe side, always switch off and On the modem a little after 2.00 am and a little before 8.00 am. Unless the start and end time falls in the 2 -8 slot, you will be charged for your night usage.

    what is special about starting at 0130AM
    There is no assurance BSNL meter will stop at 0200AM!
    Better switch off MODEM at about 0155AM
    and restart MODEM at about 0205AM.
    Seems meter stops at 0800AM now for most users..

    Check your usage at BSNL Portal
    with 14 digit usage portal ID and PW password regularly.
    ( get them from exchange)

    for me the meter does not stop at 8 am, and also does not stop at 2 am checkpoint. I can prove this from the fat bill I had to pay for Feb 2010. So "REBOOT @2.03am and 7.57am" is the mantra.

    There is no need to Restart modem or connection...

    Please don't spread rumours. BSNL has not yet fixed the error. Every month we get queries stating excess usage due to non restarting of modem.
