    Default Broadband Usage

I got last month's bill a few days ago and under the usage charges,it was mentioned that I had used 2498932 ( Units in KB ).

I am not sure if it is KB or GB,but how much would it be according to the usage I have mentioned above.

Off topic (Sorry):My internet wasn't working properly for the past 6 months (i.eNS failure, often),so I updated the firmware for my modem (WA 3002G4) and it is working perfectly now.I just thought,if any of you may be having the same problem, you could update your firmware and your internet would work fine.

    Thank you.

    Thank you,essbebe for the info.

I have attached the screen shot and the link for the firmware is

    http://motive.bsnl.co.in/index.php

When you open this web page click on Click Here to Download the Application.

It takes sometime to download the application and after that it checks your firmware and upgrades if it necessary.Later it downloads the Self Install software to configure the modem, which I think is not necessary.

Just remember,I don't know if you have already visited this link, maybe somebody has already checked it out.

I don't know if it old news that there is a firmware upgrade available and also the site I mentioned.

Yes,it is completely different and the upgrade will be helpful to many indiabroadband.net members,if it is compatible with their modems or serviced area.
I will be deleting the screen shot of the Device Info.Is that Ok ??

After upgrading what your Device info page shows ?
What is the FW upgrade file details ?

As this link is very old, now users having
this router , may not need Upgrade at all.

I don't have the firmware upgrade details because after downloading the file (UTFwUploaderApp.exe),I click on run and then it starts the upgrade
I have attached the device info, after the firmware upgrade.I wanted to tell you that there is something weird about the Device Info,it does not show the Firmware version,Model name and Hardware version.

I took the screen shot again about an hour ago(it is really a mystery,as to why the Firmware version,Model name and Hardware version are not displayed).

I posted the same screen shot in the morning.

Off topic:The second screen shot comes after running network diagnostics, when the internet explorer finds that the internet is not working.

This is something which happens since two days.

    You're welcome !!

I have no clue about this, because I am getting my bill and in that it says 100% discount on Modem rental (i.e : Rs 80 per month).

I am not sure if I paid the full amount for the modem or if I am being charged monthly rental.

It is more than two years since I got the broadband connection.

This link is from the BSNL website, but I don't know if BSNL allows it for rental modems.
