    quick reply dude! thanks

    5. I found this page : portal.bsnl.in/bsnlcca/Login.aspx, which allows registering for a new connection, even for those users that do not have landline. But the night unlimited plan is a combo plan , so i guess I will have to take a landline with it. would there be extra charges for it ? if so how much ?
    2. 1500/1504 aren't working for me

    5. any idea how much time it takes after registering onilne ?

Yes. But not to worry, they will give you one when you apply a broadband connection. Not having BSNL land line is not a disqualification for getting broadband connection. You may choose a combo plan if you do not wish to pay for land line.

Visit your local exchange. They will be the best person to direct you.

Do not apply online. Online applications are mostly ignored. Go to the local exchange and give the application in person.

For me it took one month. It all depends on your circle. Some of them are efficient.

    Cool

Ask your neighbours they may be knowing!
If not some amount of information can also be got from 18004241600!
Without landline a customer cannot get Broadband connection

Saying disqualification to landline for not getting broadband is not appreciable at all dilip!

What I meant is, even if you do not have a land line, we can still apply for a broadband connection.

It is time that you improve your English. If you do not have a land line and still need a broadband connection, give an application for a broadband connection at your local exchange. Untick the column which shows that you already have a land line. When they prepare for a new connection, they will draw a new land line to your place.

So, if you do not have a land line you can still apply for a broadband connection. No need to apply for a separate land line first. Hope you can understand what I wrote.

If you are still looking ways for broadband without land line, you can choose BSNL EvDO, Reliance net connect or Tata Photon +.

    MY ENGLISH IS CORRECT!
Without BSNL LINE BROADBAND Can't be carried on.............ya the difference is
you dont need to fill a separate for Landline!
The topic was started with Wireline Broadband!
    BSNL EVDO Tata photon+............etc.....
    All are off topic discussions!
Which plan you are on now?
    Are you comfortable??

dilip your answer was clear the first time itself. Sahil as you said needs better comprehensin skills
anyway, the nearest excange is no where near my house. There has to be a sit from home and apply approach . I called 18004241600 , but they said thats a pune number and won't work for ahmedabad.

You can apply online. But there are reports that those applications were neglected. May be some problem with the BSNL system. Please wait till anyone from Ahmedabad answers your question. But I recommend a personal visit to your exchange. Normally they can work like magic.

2 days! thanks for telling. i was totally scared with 30 days! baap re

    btw what does this mean:
Security Deposit for the opted Broadband Plan and the Modem Security Deposit (in case Modem is taken on hire basis from BSNL) shall be taken in three monthly installments starting from the first bill for the BB connection registered upto 31.03.2010

it took me 4 days here.

Dilip is in a city where there are a lot of people in demand of BB.SO it took him time.

but if u live in a small city that is not too popular and many people are not interested in net then it might only take 2 days.

its took me 4 days here.
