Exclamation DLink dsl 2640T driving me berserk!!!!

Hello guys I bought a Dlink dsl 2640T router a month ago and was using it for hosting a game server from home...(things were as smooth as they could be)
For the last few days my internet was down and when it finally resumed the ADSL link on my router just does not stablize.
I had been working with the adsl type ITU G 992.1 type earlier(which I figured out from going through other posts in this forum)
Now the problem here is that in desperation I've tried all possible ADSL types restarted modem for the change to take place but still the ADSL wont stablize.

But on the contrary the adsl link is stable on my bsnl router(UT300r2u).

I tried using PORTFORWARD.com but the interface that it shows for UTSTARCOM UT300R2U is not even remotely matching mine.

    tr69 is disabled,and I have a bsnl 750 ul+ plan
    Ay suggestions!!!!???

    ^^^ ITU G 992.1 is the G.DMT
This is the stander mod for your Plan. Your Dlink dsl 2640T dose not stable the ADSL link because your router not able to synced up with the exchange DSLAM. This is because of the poor line condition or for long distance from the exchange. But you say your Dlink dsl 2640T router works good a month ago. So I gues now the problem because of your line condition. The signal is poor in your line.
The router UTSTARCOM UT300R2U works good in low signal condition. So you dont find any problem with this router. Check the SNR value and the Line Attenuation in your UT300R2U.

is my snr or whatever that matters in the panic region???
if yes than what can i do bout it?

Or if worst come worst cant I use my dlink just as a router. That is using 300r2u as a modem and taking a cat5 from it to Dlink which in turn feeds my computer,so that i can forward my ports through it for resuming my game/web server....????

Your SNR and Attenuation are OK.
Set your Dlink dsl 2640T mode to ITU G 992.5
    ITU G 992.5 is a ADSL2+

The problem is, your router not able to synced up with the exchange DSLAM, Maybe there is some problem with your telephone line. Try to connect direct telephone cable to your Dlink dsl 2640T and dont use telephone receiver. This is for the test.

If nothing works then reset your Dlink dsl 2640T by reset button and after reset set the mode to ITU G 992.1

The above bold comment is not possible. But you can use dlink just as a router and as a switch. You can set up different network in dlink router and able to connect them and able to share files and folder between different network.

Different network mean one network has subnet 192.168.1.0
    second network has subnet 192.168.2.0
you can connect all IP from first subnet's netwok to second subnet's network

    Attenuation (dB): 37.0 18.5
Downstreamm Attenuation not satisfactory. Check cables /connectors.
If possible use new Rj11 short cables.
Even with ADSL splitter modem PORT is
connected DIRECTLY to the phone line.
Only for PHONE port filter circuit is inserted.
Do you hear any "hiss " in telephone when BB is connected.?
BB can work , even if telephone is out of order.

Did you compare ATTN values with UT300R2U
as suggested in Post NO 1. ?
Also try dns 8.8.8.8 and 208.67.220.220
Confirm you have a stable connection in LAN mode with UT300R2U.

Seems DSL2640T is Adsl Modem+WIFI router.
Have you enabled Wireless settings in the unit ?
