frequent disconnection Two days back i replaced my nokia siemens c2110 with zte zxdsl 831aii becoz former was not workiong.
Now my connection gets disconnected frequently(sometimes within minutes) but it was not happening earlier.Is it the fault of new modem or connection?
help plz.

This happened to me also but then i complained on 198 Line man came and repaired my line!This was also a misconception to me even!(Modem)
But actually line has sever problem!
Get it complained!
Check your splitter. Bypass the splitter and connect directly to your modem. Make sure that all connections come after your splitter.
Please uncheck Mod mode adsl2+
and recheck SNR ATTN. as at present acceptable. Downstream SNR 20.5 dB
.................Downstream ATTN 12.5 dB
Only ensure ALL telephones are connected
after the splitter. Immaterial how you connect the modem, as using the adsl splitter also
it is connected DIRECT to BSNL phone junction.
Downstream data rate in bits 2044100 divided by 8 = 255500 bytes 255 KBps approx seems to suggest a 2 Mbps tariff plan.
Modem settings pages appear identical to siemen's c2110. confirm.
Yes. It looks like C 2110.
