    Default BSNL doubled the speed.

    BSNL has doubled the speed:

Further to enable its existing landline Broadband customers to taste higher speeds and enjoy fast moving virtually live games like cricket, it has DOUBLED THE SPEEDS for all its customers who have unlimited home usage plans with speeds in the bracket ranging from256 Kbps to 1 Mbps without any extra charge upto 26th April 2010.
BSNL announces free offerings for its new broadband customers

    Now enjoy friends .......................

Maybe the change of speed is gradual. I got double the speed for 20 minutes today.
I hope to see 60~ KBps when I wake up tomorrow morning

I think by this Home 500 c and c+ plan users will get low speed as plan is 256 kbps and upto 2 Mbps. if this is the step of BSNl then, **** BSNL

    Default limited

Why offer advantages only for unlimited plans? BSNL should be uniform and increase the free usage limit for others. This is really cheating if it offers nothing to limited plan users

we have the speed but even if we watch one match online, we'll cross the usage limit and end up paying huge bills....and the bills are also always wrongly calculated......we are not in any better position than unlimited users

Limited user have Night unlimited. Most users are on UL 750, hence the doubled speed will be just 512 Kbps. Limited users can get up to 2 Mbps.
