    Question BSNL self-care:Is it safe for torrents??

    Hi guys.
    I'm currently using the 500C plan.I'm being redirected to bsnl's self-care portal over the last few days to update my modem's firmware.
    I use night unlimited hours to download through torrents; and not all of the downloads are strictly legal.
    would there be any hindrance to this from the self-care update?
    Would appreciate confirmations from guys who have used the update and are still able to use torrents('even the illegal downloads').

    By the way i'm based in maharastra and the self-care page mentions its bsnl-karanataka.
    Could there be any conflicts?

    No need to worry............
    We all download illegal thinks from the torrents, I am too using Home 500 c and downloading these things from last 1 year. There is no such thing happened. So, download as you want.............

    Guys! since, I am using 750 UL Plus. Can you explain whats that self care???
    And its legal to download torrent???

    It is not legal but i is not illegal too. Why are you worried about this. Download as you want, no thing to worry..............

    You are not downloading. It's called file sharing. Remember we were asked to share from school days.

    How can something be legal and illegal at the same time ... especially in this case? Of course torrent downloading and uploading is illegal when the stuff is copyrighted and you do not own the copyright.

    We are paying 9000rs per year for 750 ul plan. The corporates and government bodies like BSNL are keeping internet prices unfairly high and looting us. We poor people console each other by sharing.

    i say no need to worry.its been 2 years since i download torrents. And till now nothing.
