Default Not Able to Connect To Internet with WiFi

I recently got a BSNL broadband connection with a Nokia Siemens 1600 residential router. I am able to connect to internet using wired RJ45 connection using the BSNL dialer.
Iam not able to connect to internet using the WiFi. I think I have set up my Wifi properly because both my laptop and iphone are being assigned IPs in the 192.168.1.x range and Iam able to ping to them and the router at 192.168.1.1 using my desktop.
Since the primary and secondary DNS in the router was 192.168.1.1 I also tried by changing them to open DNS IPs using telnet but Iam still not able to connect to the internet.

    Any support will be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Ajay

First, you have to set the modem to be in PPPoE mode so that you can use internet on all devices simultaneously.

If you are unable to connect to Wifi then refer to first : steps to connect internet (Steps to connect to internet via WIFI in Bridge Mode).

Have you configured the modem in PPPoE mode???

    @ovie
http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...ost208783lease (UTSTAR WA3002-G4 quick reference) check this link for similar modem menu pages.
Change over to PPPoE "Always On" mode and enter useerId and PW in the router wan page.
You have to enable DHCP in the router.
    Laptop and other computers:
    Start Network LAN WLAN
    properties
    New page
    select tcp/ip
    properties
    obtain Ip address Automatically.
    dns
    8.8.8.8 and 208.67.220.220
    apply Save.
    Feedback.
