Question New BSNL Broadband plan for Punjab

Hey, I have seen a new plan on BSNL site, Combo UL 625 CS1

    Here is the link: http://www.bsnl.co.in/service/new_BB...only_unlim.htm

Is it really unlimited? I live in Punjab, that means it is available here.......
What is the difference between this and the UL750 plan?

And if the shift, can I use my old modem of Home 500 c? The modem is ADSL Wifi 2 modem.

Can anyone explain, at the time I am using Home 500 c combo plan.
    Thanks in advance..........

    Present PlanHome 500CPLUS D/llimit 2.5 GB free NU 02-08AM Rs 600 P.M
What is the difference between this and the UL750 plan
Yes . You can shift to this plan,if not interested in torrents d/l etc.
You get free telephone calls for Rs 100/=
    Save Fixed rental for telephone.
Speed is reduced from Upto 2 Mbps to 256 Kbps.
Also check the rural plans, if applicable to you.

PS: Most U/L plans speed has been doubled till 30-4-2010 ( to facilitate
viewing video of IPL may be.)

Ya. It is a cheaper unlimited plan for those circles. You can shift and continue to use your old modem.

How many free calls are there in UL750? Is that 100 as the new plan?
And i want to use the annual payment option.....how to use this feature?

How much does it costs total including tax, I think it will be Rs. 700/month

    .:Unlimited Home Only:.

No free calls for UL 750. You can apply for one year pack. For one year for Rs. 7500 + 10.3 % tax.

Gaggan your old plan seems good.
    Dont change that.
256kb is too low even for surfing and browsing.

There is a list of exchanges in rural plans link. Download the pdf and go through. But the simple way is to make a call to the local exchange and ask them.
