The Hardware board may be same for both.
BSNL supplied new Ut300R2U will/may not have
    Advanced options Virtual server/port triggering.

You can compare settings, if UT is working OK.

Or try FW upgrade as suggested elsewhere
AT YOUR OWN RISK for Dare global.

BSNL will supply same type with Wireless
    incorporated. WA3002_g4
    ( DNA A211 -1 avoid this)
    Siemens sl2_141
    or zte zxdsl 531 B
    ( Beetel 450 BX1) etc.
Rental Rs 80/P.M Lowest price for a "3 in One" modem Rs 1600/= + taxes.

Rencently, for my new laptop I need to connect net from modem( I am using internal modem for PC where u connect phone line after splitter directly to PCI card)
RJ45 connection. Taken out the Old defunct Dare global 108, and re configured.Voila
    it started working.

After some week again hanging problem reccurred. this time I found out that whenever phone is active it disconnects. Problem is with Splitter. Changed splitter and wire provided by Inernal Modem, worse result. some connection showed when chaged to old cable, returned back to Old BSNL provided Fun-joy splitter it stated work normal and frequent hanging problem is no more.

Lesson learnt: Splitter cable is also very important/specific and to be placed comfortably.
