    Question Dataone Plan Change - Help!!!

    hi guys,

    i applied for plan change last month [5th-march-2010] from 500C+ to Home UL 1350+.
    according to bsnl, my plan has to change 1st of this month or from next billing cycle. but still it has not changed. check the screenshot below. do u have any idea about it?

    The new plan need not get activated on 1 st of every month. It normally happens in the 1st week. As per the records you gave, you plan change request is yet to be processed. I am also waiting for my plan change request (which I gave 1 week back) to be processed. When I phoned them, BSNL people said since it is year end they will process the request only in April and today is the first working day. Make a call to the exchange were you gave the application and enquire the details. Follow ups can do magic with BSNL.

    Yep, you gotta agree with what meetdilip says. I am currently facing a similar situation, and all you can really do is either wait silently, or follow up with the BSNL guys.

    One easy way is to run a speed test, but sometimes the speeds are changed and the plan isn't. So, please don't lose your patience or temper, and confirm and double confirm before believing that the plan has actually changed.

    i went to bsnl exchange today. they checked in there computer and said it was activated last month itself. that is, on the day i applied for plan change itself my plan was converted it seems. they shown in their computer and it displayed Home 1350 UL+ in their database. they said that according to new software the plan change will be effective on that day itself it seems. they given the followin link and asked to verify in that site.

    now tell me, can i start using unlimted plan?

    but in data.bsnl.in the usage is showing according to the old plan. when i asked the officers they said i have to follow the new site only. but i still fear to use...

    Hey is that CRM site for all users? I refer here to the users with IP addresses 59.xx or 117.xx.

    Can the older 59.xx users access it? If not, what is the best site for older users?

    Users with 59.xx.xx.xx not confirmed.
    may extend it it to all major towns.
    for Ip 59.xx.xx.xx no change.

    Not in a position to confirm. The speed is that of UL 1350+, but unless it is shown that the usage is not zero, we can't be sure. Is there any effective date in self care portal ? If so, please quote.

    i was searching for that only. but i cudn find...

    the bsnl officers said very confidently that i can start using the unlimited plan. but i doubt them because they screw us only during bill...

    Till what date is the usage updated in portal ? May be the plan change may take effect from today or something. I think you can use and if any issue comes you can point the website. Or make a call to customer care and record it for proof.

    Does this belongs to you ? If yes, Wait till one more day and check in what category the April usage is shown. Then you can use as unlimited.

    ya. this page is my usage page only. till 3rd of last month it shows chargeable unit for normal time. from 4th all time it is showing zero.... so my plan has changed.... right>>>???
