Thread: Huawei mt880 modem problem.

Hi,
I am using Huawei MT880 modem for BSNL Broadband. Whenever i try to connect using a dialup broadband connection, my pc hanged while surfing net. So i decided to configure it in PPPOE mode. In PPPOE mode the modem is working fine as the pc is not hanging. I upgraded to vista and again the same problem in PPPOE mode which was working in XP. What should i do? My firmware is dated V200R001C01B021SP02 INDIA May 17 2005. Is there any lated update?

^ I am not sure that your problem is due to old
version of firmware . However , the latest
available firmware for MT880 is available on
driversguide.com . one has to register on
that site (free registration) for downloading .

firmware version number is : V200R001C01B021SP03
Firmware Date: Jul 6 2005
