Post the link as hxxp.yahoo.com instead of http.yahoo.com. You can also copy paste the data.

    WLAN not seen/enabled .
    set it in your computer
    Start/Allprograms/Accessories/ Communications/Wireless network wizard
    follow instructions.
    Feedback.
The wifi Icon is seen with X
Right click will give a menu
    check
    disable/enable /
    status
    /repair/
    View available wireless Network
    view available wifi network
open network connections ( change windows firewall settings )

You had given a name for the wireless net work in the router
( selected some security key )
    Now in computer
the name of that wif network should appear.
Will ask for the security key
    ( enter twice )
and try. For WLAN this is required same as for LAN.
wait. I am on wifi connection ONLY with my llaptop.

or post the error messages you get.
    see previous post.

Your reply is too brief to understand.
Did you get your wifi net work name in computer? ?" did you enter a security key in modem ?
Report what you got, when wifi icon appears
    and you select
    status/
    support
    details

Give feed back for each item.
    There are two parts:
    Assuming (1)Modem settings are Ok
..testing ......(2) whether computer WLAN settings are Ok.
You should post Ipconfig /all data again.
    for WLAN.
go through the thread again and give better information.
    Para two:
    START NETWORK Wireless LAN
    Properties
    Wireless settings page opens
    Ontop
    Wireless card Box click configure
    Check "enabled"
    "This device is working properly"
    Repair etc

yeah i got my wifi netwrk name on my computer
when i clicked connect it didnt ask for a security key
    it tried to connect
    and then showed error message:
"the network may no longer be in range.........try refreshing the wirelwss connections......."
ipconfig/all data is still d same
i'm quite sure that the modem settings are ok
i'm more concerned about my lappy's wlan settings.

even the wifi adapter is enabled.
    in the programs>accessories>comm>wireless netwrk wizard>??????????????

i had an earlier wireless network present.
    so it shows 2 options:
1/set up a new wireless network
    2/add to previously exisiting network
    what should i do?

i'm more concerned about my lappy's wlan settings.
I have also asked the same.
Now try this in LAN and WLAN settings pages>
    Start Network Lan WLAN
    properties
    Network/WirelessNetwork page opens
    Select TCp/IP
    properties.
    Obtain IP address automatically
    Apply save.
( presume in modem you have enabled DHCP)
