    Default Bsnl crazy bill!!

    I have changed my plan from H500C to 750ULplus last month 14th. 750UL was on effect from last month 31st as it says in the portal. Until the last day I checked the usage portal, I used only around 1800MB. Today I got the Bill for 2255Rs.!!! My dad says he's gonna surrender the phone.

    BB Plan Rent = 500
    BB Usage = 1318 (300MB discount)
    Service Tax = 182
    Edu. cess = 5
    Deposit = 250 (for the plan change i think)
    Total = 2255

    I checked the portal now. They didn't charge me anything today. But It says "Sorry no records found" for the previous month. What can I do?

    Go to data.bsnl.in, under postpaid orders, enter the telephone no in the prescribed format and hit search order. Post the screen shot after blackening personal details.

    To check the last months details you should check billed for March.

    You can talk to the accounts officer and negotiate. If convinced, he can reduce the bill then itself.

    Sorry In hurry I saw the unbilled.





    As you see it's only some 1756MB. So Chargeable is 226MB only.
    Bill says 3475MB total and 1648MB chargeable..

    Your values are ok. Might be an error from BSNL side. Talk to the accounts officer and tell him to check your usage details. Or take print out of the screen shot and visit him in person.

    Print out this usage records, and contact with Accounts Officer(TR), he will change your bill amount in few minutes.

    I went to BSNL Internet Exchange. After going here and there, I found Senior Engineering Division person. He verified my usage in the portal and said my values are correct and bill is wrong. He asked me to write a letter to him and then He'll send email to the Bangalore office regarding this. He said He'll call me soon(but haven't since) before the last bill date.

    Now I was screwing with the portal and found this.



    From that pic we can see that they didn't consider the 2-8 unlimited. It's nearly the amount they charged extra in the bill.

    750UL was on effect from 31st last month as it says in the portal.
    BSNL guys say that it'll be on effect only on 1st April (this month).

    This is really confusing. Portal says I was on 750UL on that day and didn't charge for the whole day.

    Even if I wasn't I should have been charged only for some 100MBs excluding the Night Unlimited considering that I'm still on 500C.

    But They are charging data for the whole day.

    What plan I was on that day really? Please Tell me some solution.

    A written complaint with receipt to Nodal officer and Appellate authority may help. Address and phone no on the back side of the bill. If you have the no. of the SDE who helped you, talk with him and seek help.
