Default Beetel 220bx adsl2 Query (SOLVED)

I am using beetel 220bx adsl2 modem for bsnl broadband.

Presently...I am using bridge mode and want to convert it into pppoe mode.

I tried doing the same by : (in modem page i.e 192.168.1.1/main.html)

    1) Selecting the pppoee mode over bridged mode.
    2) Provide username, password and service name in the next page.
    then Save/Reboot.

(IP4 address : Obtain IP addresses automatically)

After this...can't able to connect to net.

But bridged mode is working with no probs....

In PPPoE mode you need not use the dialler. Configure the modem in PPPoE mode, take the browser and click the address in the address bar and browse. Hope you have not missed this.

    copy paste /ipconfig /all

As you say in "Bridged: mode Ok
only difference in PPP/PPPoE is entering UserId and PW.
    Diagnostics page shows all Ok.
Only difference i found with identical Modem ( in use by me now ) IGMP is disabled.

Instead of Browser, try OE/ Outlook and Yahoo Messenger.
( Long back BSNL advised to use ONLY "Bridged" mode for this type similar router.

Very wired problem, enable NAT and not working

Delete the Pvi/Pci entry of 0/35 and make new one with NAT and IGMP enable Tick ON
It should work, and dont forget to Save/Restart the modem. If still not resolve then your problem can't be solve by your hand, it's time to call an expert

    try this address
    http://206.190.60.37/
type this address in your browser address bar, if the page will load then check the DNS address in your lan card.

    @bajaj151
    Congrats.
Now may I advise you ( I am not an "EXPERT") to make a back up or Save the present settings of the modem ( see Under Tools menu)
    to say C:/My Documents/220BX workingIBF.
    2.
Please reconfirm, Internet started working In PPPOE mode, after whatever changes were suggested here
    a)@indranil (active NAT/NAT/IGMP etc)
    o(b) @essbebe ( DNS change disable IGMP etc )
    (c) any other changes NOT suggested in this thread.
    3.
Your Diagnostics report showed that all settings in Modem was correct. and In "Dialer" "Bridged"mode, you had no problem to connect to Internet.
    4.Wait ....
(a)In you Modem, check carefully any Selection Box for MTU.
(b)Did you enable DHCP (In LAN settings page
and given range say 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.10 ?)
    (c) Try the FIRST DNS as 8.8.8.8 in both modem and Network settings/ TCP/IP/Properties
    page.
    Please Postipconfig /all copy/paste here.

Feedback please . ( to guide other members at a later date.)

    As suggested by :

Indranil: Enabling NAT and Firewall (Checked) --> Didn't wok for me.

    Then,
Essbebe: DNS change disable IGMP etc --> I added DNS only and it WORKS !!
And after that I also enabled NAT (as suggested by Indranil)

    --> Disable DHCP is Selected
--> I used DNS as 208.67.222.222 & 208.67.220.220 (in both modem and lan seeting)

Rest everything is discussed regarding other changes.

From the screenshot of @bajaj151 ( which is deleted now by bajaj151) says The NAT service was Disable. Without the NAT service not possible to pass through the packet from Private IP to Public IP, user generally says it allwase ON mode or PPPOE from modem.

The above screenshot taken from @bajaj151

He is now able to browse the internet using PPPOE from modem because the NAT service is now enable. @bajaj151 can disable the NAT again and try to surfe the internet for testing.
The screenshot clearly says what was the main problem for not being able to browse the Internet
The DNS was set to Default BSNL DNS, I dont think that the DNS was the main issue for not able to browse the internet.

If you dont want to use DNS address on your modem then remove DNS address from your modem but set DNS address on your LAN TCP/IP address
    218.248.255.194
    218.248.255.196

Or Enable Automatic assigned DNS on your Modem DNS settings

A link with screen shots was given to you for your modem settings.
Why did you delete annexures and Ipconfig /all data?

better consult an "Expert", as suggested by @
