Thread: Using bsnl broadband in pc & laptop at same time

I have bsnl broadband. i want to configure it in a way to use in both my pc as well as laptop at same time. currently i can connect only one of them at a time either in laptop or in desktop. laptop & desktop are not connected to each other. desktop is connected to modem (DNA -A211) via ethernet rj 45 while laptop connects to modem via wifi & then dials bsnl connection. Can someone suggest changes that are required so that i could use both laptop and desktop at same time. I have windows 7 in laptop while desktop has win xp. Current settings in my desktop & laptop lan is "obtain ip & dns automatically". plz suggest

Enable DHCP in your modem. Select " Obtain IP address automatically ". Please go through

Presume you are using "Dialer" mode.
Uncheck "Bridged" in WAN page and select PPP/PPPoE box . enter userId/PW in wan page.
Enable DHCP as suggested above.

i have done that....& now both laptop & desktop are working fine....i have bsnl unlimited connection so no worry of bills. Thank u all for your help
