Thread: becomes slow download after reinstalling XP(sp2) Help me!!

am in home 500C plan (2.00-8.00 free)
modem : DNA-A211-1 (wireless) connected with wire only
(using in bridge mode)

before install it was upto 130 kbps

now it is 60kbps. in torrent also it 60kbps i changed TCP/IP file conn. limit to 50
After 8.00 o clock it come upto 140kbps
even though i am downloading as a premium member in rapidshare.com
what to do ? help me please !!

Note: whoever having the same connection like me gets upto 240kbps always. Then why it is not working for me.
My Modem info:

check speed at
Airtel ( about 2 MB)
compare with test at server Sydney ( say) speedtest.net ( about 15 MB)

Use Google and open DNS 8.8.8.8 and 208.67.220.220
In torrents keep U/L speed selection at 25 Kbps.

Keep the slider at say 2 3.Mbps
Rest optimal settings.

Confirm you are not using WIFI mode. if so, try in LAN mode.
4.Try portforwarding

Post your SNR and attenuation values.

Sydney server today before 8 o clock

To enter DNS in computer.
In modem Advanced Options :
DNS
uncheck box
assign dns automatically
enter 8.8.8.8 and 208.67.220.220
Save reboot wait for 2 minutes.
One is from Google and another Open DNS.

3. Download TCP optimizer from speedguide.net.
Keep slider at about 2.5 Mbps
select Optimal or default values.
Restart system.

now the torrents speed is increased to 120kbps
i done DNS and TCP optimizer

Repeat Test at SYdney server with tweaks done for comparison.
