Thread: serious problem with night unlimited plans

hi.. i'm shreesh this morning I logged in at bsnl portal to check my broadband usage I was shocked to see that the chargeable units were 2000, therefore i checked the list and found out that they were charging even at night.... it was also shocking that they were charging at night only from the past 2 days.. mine is a night unlimited plan so i download only at night......now they are charging even at night bsnl truly sucks dosen't it???:

Make your own records on HOURLY basis.
This will help in reducing your free usage from the total. ( provided you keep this application
as a resident program.
Hourly Daily readings should tally with BSNl meter.

1. Mention your BSNL broadband plan.

2. Post a screen shot of the usage details after blackening personal data.

Hope you know that the modem should be restarted on a little after 2.00 am and a little before 8.00 am that start and end time falls in the 2 - 8 slot.

If your plan is 500 combo plus, then the free chargeable unit is 2500 MB, as your current chargeable unit is 2000, so you still have 500 MB of free units.

Ya, BSNL portal shows all your usage(excluding night unlimited) as chargeable but according to the 500 combo plus plan, first 2500 units are free.

1 GB= 1024MB
If shown in MB : 2560 MB as free download.

May be your night download/s started earlier than 0200AM.
an entry: say 0120 to 0450 700MB may be shown as charged.
Always switch off modem at about 0155AM or earlier and restart after 0205 AM.

thank u very much... my plan is 500 combo plus and it provides 1.5 gb of free download my question is that if I use up all the given 1.5 gb,my night unlimited plans will no longer be applicable

Night Unlimited will be available even if you use all free units, remember 500 combo plus gives 2.5 GB of free download.
