i m taking 256kbps bsnl broadband

how much do u think will we get the download speed

and any tricks to increase the speed of bsnl 256kbps?

any suggestions and tell me whats the download speed they give for 256kbps

say me soon and urgent and say tricvks to speed up also

For UL 750, you will get an average of 24 KBps. But it will reach 32 KBps at times. To get maximum speed, use a good download manager and do port forwarding.

but i think it will not work in lan connections?

OpenDNS can make page loading faster. But does not impact downloading. You can try Tuneup Utilities. It has some effect on speeding up your PC and internet connection.

Portforwarding and downloading torrents with good number of seeds than peers is the only trick to increase your download speeds in utorrent.

If any other trick is mentioned here such as hacking the modem etc the member posting it may end up getting banned.

in my friends house he gets 250kbps for bsnl how idont get like that he gets every day even i get just 60kbps for 256kbps thats it

Download torrents from private trackers like Demomoid or torrentleech. The best torrent is that, that contains more seeders than leechers.

And don`t talk about hacking here........

now in UL plans u will get doubled speed so its 64KBps u will get= 512Kbps.

This will expire on 30th April, 2010.

ur friend gets 256KBps because he's on a limited plan.if u come on unlimioted plan u will get less speed but unlimited downloads.
and hacks are not allowed to talk here.better never hack anyone.its cheating.
