Thread: How to know connection speed?

I am using BSNL Broadband 250 home plan since 2007. How can I know the actual speed of my connection or download speed? Please suggest!

Go to Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test, perform a speed test and post the forum link here. You can also try a download from Microsoft and check speed. Microsoft has one of the best servers in the world and gives a decent idea about your actual speed.

Upload Speed: 44 kbps (5.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 405 ms

It is a bit slow for your plan. To know your speed, try a download from Microsoft or cnet. They give a better idea.
